Everything you see on the site, is subject to discussion and opinion. We use the site to conduct controlled experiments to determine if all the common "facts" about SEO floating around in blogs, at discussion forums, and used in sales presentations are actually true, and what is just rumours and assumtions.
We don't think we know anything before we have scientifically proven what is the actual factors at work when it comes to the search engines algorithms. Until we have digged our way to the bottom of things, we will continue to conduct experiments. Reverse engineering Google, Bing, Baidu and the other big players in the search engine market is not an easy task.
Last time Devenia did research on this scale was in 2008. It's time to check if what we found then still stands in 2013.
